These terms cover use of filmproductionromania.com and its Journal, together with the general conditions on which we discuss and arrange services for international business clients.
2. Website information
The website presents our production services, selected work, location information and editorial material about Romania.
Articles, photographs, videos and location descriptions provide general information. They do not constitute a confirmed quotation, reservation, filming permission or commitment to provide services.
Location conditions, access, availability, regulations and practical requirements may change. Project-specific checks are required before making production commitments.
Information about visas, immigration, permits or production incentives does not replace advice or decisions from the competent authorities.
3. Website use and content rights
You may browse the website and use its information to assess a potential production or collaboration.
Website materials may be protected by copyright, trademark or other rights belonging to TELEDEME SRL, clients, contributors or third parties. Portfolio presentation does not grant a licence to reuse the underlying production.
Do not republish, commercially exploit or redistribute protected materials without permission from the relevant rights holder.
Downloadable production briefs and scouting forms may be completed and returned to us for their intended purpose.
Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or submit unlawful, misleading or malicious material.
4. Enquiries and project acceptance
Submitting an enquiry or completed form does not create a production contract.
Before accepting a project, we may request company registration details, confirmation of a representative’s authority, a production brief, proposed dates and relevant financing information.
Services, responsibilities, deliverables, exclusions, schedules and payment arrangements must be agreed in writing before work begins.
5. Budgets and initial advances
Following issue of the first estimated production budget, the standard initial advance is:
- USA-registered companies: 5% of the estimated total.
- European-registered companies, including the United Kingdom: 10% of the estimated total.
- Companies registered elsewhere, including India, Sri Lanka and Nepal: 100% of the estimated total.
Payments are accepted by bank transfer only.
The written quotation or agreement identifies the relevant budget version, currency, tax treatment, amount and payment deadline. Any departure from the standard payment schedule requires written agreement.
The production advance is credited against agreed project charges. It is not an additional percentage fee. Where an initial advance is below 100%, the agreement must specify how the remaining production costs will be funded.
6. Bookings, changes and cancellation
An estimated budget is not a fixed-price commitment unless expressly agreed.
Crew, equipment, locations, suppliers and other resources are confirmed according to the agreed contract and funding schedule. An advance payment does not itself confirm third-party availability or permissions.
Material changes to the brief, dates or scope may require a revised budget and written approval.
Cancellation, postponement, preparation fees, committed costs and treatment of any unused production advance must be addressed in the written agreement before payment. The specific IGI and visa-file conditions below apply separately.
7. IGI, visa and immigration support
Any immigration or visa-support work must relate to a genuine, agreed project and be expressly included in our scope.
The client and each applicant must provide accurate, complete and authentic information and documentation.
TELEDEME SRL does not guarantee a visa, immigration approval, permission to work or entry into Romania. Decisions belong exclusively to the competent authorities. A visa must not be assumed to authorise every proposed work activity.
Fees for agreed preparation and processing of IGI and visa files, together with administrative or third-party costs incurred or committed for the application, are non-refundable. This also applies if an application is unsuccessful, a decision is delayed, or a visa is withdrawn or unused.
These amounts cannot be transferred, reused or credited towards another applicant, application or project. A new application requires a new quotation and written acceptance.
IGI and visa-file charges must be identified separately from production funding and accepted in writing before work begins. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
8. Permits and production incentives
Location access, filming permissions, public-authority approvals and state incentives require separate assessment and confirmation.
References to a rebate or other incentive do not constitute confirmation of eligibility, funding, approval or payment. Payment of our fees or an advance does not guarantee an incentive or authorisation.
9. Client materials and confidentiality
Please provide only materials you are entitled to share and identify any confidentiality requirements before sending restricted information.
Project-specific confidentiality, permitted disclosures and rights in commissioned deliverables should be recorded in the written agreement.
10. External services
The website contains links and embedded content from third parties. Their content, availability, privacy practices and contractual terms remain under their control.
11. Responsibility
We organise agreed services with professional care within the defined scope.
Website information is supplied for general guidance. Confirm project-critical information with us before relying on it for bookings, expenditure or production decisions.
Responsibility, insurance, third-party commitments and any contractual limitations should be addressed in the project agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Contractual terms and applicable law
Browsing this website does not, by itself, constitute acceptance of a production-services contract or authorise paid work.
Commercial services require written acceptance of the applicable quotation and terms. Where these general terms conflict with a specifically negotiated provision in the signed project agreement, the specifically negotiated provision takes precedence, subject to mandatory law.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Jurisdiction and dispute-resolution arrangements may be specified in the project agreement, subject to applicable mandatory rules.
Later website updates do not automatically alter an existing signed agreement.
13. Privacy and contact
Please read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for information about personal data and website technologies.

conquered. This remote hamlet is a breathtaking marvel of nature and human endurance, where life hangs literally on the edge—cliffside homes clinging to slopes that make strong men dizzy and old women chuckle at lowlanders’ trepidation.

and Năvodari on the Black Sea. Administered from Agigea, it is an important part of the waterway link between the North Sea and the Black Sea via the Rhine–Main–Danube Canal. The main branch of the canal, with a length of 64.4 km (40.0 mi), which connects the Port of Cernavodă with the Port of Constanța, was built in 1976–1984, while the northern branch, known as the Poarta Albă–Midia Năvodari Canal, with a length of 31.2 km (19.4 mi), connecting Poarta Albă and the Port of Midia, was built between 1983 and 1987.
Although the idea of building a navigable canal between the Danube and the Black Sea is old, the first concrete attempt was made between 1949 and 1953, when the communist authorities of the time used this opportunity to eliminate political opponents, so the canal became notorious as the site of labor camps, when at any given time, between 5,000 and 20,000 detainees, mostly political prisoners, worked on its excavation. The total number of prisoners used as labor force during this period is unknown, with the total number of deaths being estimated at several tens of thousands. The construction works of the Danube–Black Sea Canal were to be resumed 20 years later, in different conditions.
